Scale Removal with Fewer Chemicals
The solution to removing stubborn surface deposits and discoloration without the use of harsh chemicals has been elusive until recently.
An innovative non-chemical sponge called Scale Away (Ref: Fas-Trak Industries, Monee IL, USA) does this without a separate chemical intervention.

Steps:
1. Sponge is moistened with water and the gray side is used to remove scum and mineral scale from tiled surfaces, chrome and stainless steel, and tarnish from copper, brass or silver. It also removes mineral deposits from glass and shower doors. It also works on stainless steel drinking fountains.
2. Rinse with water, wipe or squeegee dry.
It is a useful tool to add to your cleaning for health toolbox.
Note: It works best on light scale or mineral deposits. Applying a mild citric acid solution (4 tablespoons of citric acid powder per quart of water) with a 10 minute wet-dwell time will increase efficacy. Rinse well and dry. Always test first in an inconspicuous area, and wear PPE.
