The Indoor Health Council (IHC) provides info and resources to connect the cleaning process with public health science to drive mutual value for those who clean buildings and those who use them.

Expert Members

IHC consists of experts in fields ranging from microbiology to indoor air quality to cleaning and beyond — with a shared goal to remove silos, unify knowledge and messaging to drive healthy, sustainable environments by promoting the training and self-worth of those who clean and the public perception of their importance.

Pro Members

Indoor Health Council offers paid annual membership with all funds earmarked for research. It is $25 per year for individuals or $250 per year for companies with more than 10 employees. The handful of people who signed up as free members are grandfathered in for one year, starting January 1st 2023. Council members are exempt from membership dues. Join Today!

Knowledge Base

IHC brings together leading global experts and cleaning professionals to develop practical recommendations to help improve hygiene and health in public facilities, promote well-being, and prevent illness and injury.

Our Audience

Connecting cleaning with public health is key to building value with two audiences, 1) Building Service Contractors/Cleaning Professionals and, 2) Schools, Retailers, Restaurants, Foodservice and Other Facilities, plus the General Public.
