IHC Media Strategy

Media Goals:

The online Indoor Health Council™ (IHC) seeks to raise commercial cleaning to the status of preventative medicine.

“Our field has been plagued for decades by poor self-concept,” notes IHC Director, Allen Rathey, himself a former building service contractor turned educator, “but when you reflect that effective cleaning removes pollutants and pathogens from indoor spaces, it’s a form of health ensurance.”

IHC seeks partners, media opportunities, and a chance to change the rules by sharing information on the way cleaning impacts health.

Our initial effort is to build “street cred” and help the media with basic cleaning and indoor health knowledge―see examples below―but in time to empower workers and drive “Cleaning as a Calling”―both inside and outside the professional cleaning sector.
