IHC council members are vetted for their credentials, understanding, and desire to connect cleaning to public health outcomes. They are listed alphabetically.

Tom Morrison

Tom Morrison is a seasoned marketing professional with deep roots in both tech and professional cleaning sectors; and current advisor to industry influencers.

He served as VP of Marketing for one of the nation’s leading providers of cleaning equipment for schools (Kaivac), retail, grocery and foodservice, and principal catalyst for helping multinational organizations improve their cleaning methods and outcomes.

A longtime advocate of cleaning science, Tom has been instrumental in the development and adoption of cleaning technologies that raise the value of cleaning operations while elevating the professionalism and esteem of frontline cleaning workers.

He resides in Ohio with his wife of many years, Fran.

Allen Randolph

Allen is the Vice President of Business Development for Kaivac with more than 30 years of experience in the professional cleaning industry.

He is Executive Chair of the ISSA Workloading & Benchmarking Council, a 2015 CONNEX (formerly PRISM) Association Service Award Winner, and participant in the “Coming Clean – The Truth about Cleaning” podcast.

Dinesh Wadhwani

Dinesh Wadhwani is an industry, air quality and lighting expert, entrepreneur in the technology and life sciences industries, and Founder/CEO of ThinkLite.

At ThinkLite, he works with a team of engineers to create “high value add” technological solutions in diverse fields including pharmaceutical, agriculture, poultry, data centers, general health and most recently, a technology solution that tracks the levels of airborne pathogens in indoor public areas and facilities, including COVID-19, among other viruses; so they can be addressed and managed to help optimize health and safety indoors.

Dinesh works closely with Fortune 500 companies, townships, and enterprises across the globe, and has been recognized by Inc. Magazine among the Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneurs (#1 of 30), the Top 50 Power Influencers in Massachusetts by Boston Business Journal; and as a Top Immigrant Entrepreneur by the State of Massachusetts and Top Young Entrepreneur by the White House.

ThinkLite was named among the Top Innovative Businesses by the New England Business Association.

Joseph Gray Welsh

Joseph Welsh is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Joseph Welsh Consulting LLC. Known in the Food Industry as “Joe the Grocer,” Welsh is a Global Supermarket Consultant and Food Systems Expert and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Having served in nearly every possible retail and wholesale food job over the last 43 years, ‘Joe’ continues to perform project work globally, build Food Ecosystems, provide Expert Witness testimony in litigation matters, represent grocers and government entities in Food Deserts and Industry related matters. Welsh is generally considered a Global leader in Food Insecurity issues. He has owned, operated, consulted, and managed stores of all formats, sizes, demographic settings, and competitive situations; across a broad geography.

He has a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, trained in programs administered by Harvard Business School, graduated from SMU (Supermarket Manager University), RCU (Retail Counselor University), and attended and taught many industry seminars in retailing, perishables, shrink management, merchandising, meat/specialty foods and more. Welsh is widely known for his financial acumen, retail prowess, and grocery science.
