Clean for Health and Prosper
You’ve likely heard the saying, “Nice guys finish last”, but they can finish first, especially when they clean for health and not just for appearances.
Per the book, Guerrilla Marketing to Heal the World, “socially responsible [businesses] do better… [because] when customers believe you have their best interests at heart, they come back again and again.”
Aflac’s 2019 CSR Survey* found 77% of Americans prefer to buy from companies trying to make the world better, and 54% have stopped using a company’s products because of its public position on an issue.
A Bona/Harris survey of some 2,000 adults found more than 90 percent are planning to spring clean in 2023 plus take steps to reduce environmental impacts.
Michael Berry, author of Protecting the Built Environment, Cleaning for Health, said:
“Environmentally knowledgeable customers will buy [a clean for health program], as [they] … are seriously concerned about their surroundings and health, and want control over what they and their families are exposed to. This includes the desire for a clean built environment.”
